One question in particular really stood out for me.
AC - Elaborate on the types of situations, challenges or decisions, you feel you could add the most value to as an advisor?
HG - Our value comes from our ethical standpoint. Often times, consulting firms act more like marketing firms and want to sell their product regardless of its utility. We are not like that. I don’t want to sell my service to a client and I only take on clients that want to make safety a priority in their firm. So many requirements in Occupational Health & Safety are superfluous, we want to remove what is not necessary and provide clients what is truly required by legislation and best practice and why.
